Carers Champion Training for Primary Schools

This course is designed for Carers Champions in Primary School settings to provide a more in depth awareness of the issues Young Carers face in education and help schools develop systems to improve young carer achievement and progression. 

Young Carers provide support to a family member who has a disability, chronic illness, mental health or drug/alcohol issues. This may be a parent, grandparent, or sibling. Many Young Carers care for more than one person and may also have their own health issues.
